S, A, B, C rankings come from the fighting game community, where players sorted characters by strength; Know Your Meme finds them in memes by 2009. Brain rot itself was Oxford's Word of the Year for 2024, and Dictionary.com picked 6-7 for 2025, so the slang has its own lists. wikiHow even hosts a drag-and-drop one.

• Skibidi. From Skibidi Toilet, the YouTube series by DaFuq!?Boom! that started in 2023. Now a filler word for anything odd.
• Rizz. Charm or flirting skill, Oxford's Word of the Year for 2023.
• Sigma. An ironic word for someone acting too cool. Teens use it for almost anything.
• 6-7. A shouted number joke, Dictionary.com's Word of the Year for 2025. It means nothing, which is the point.

The closest thing to an official character ranking

Italian brainrot began on TikTok in January 2025 with Tralalero Tralala, a shark in sneakers, and hundreds of hybrids followed. Steal a Brainrot, a Roblox game released on May 16, 2025, sorts them on a rarity ladder: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Brainrot God and Secret, with OG and event labels added later. Rarer units cost more and earn more cash per second. In October 2025 it became the first game to pass 25 million players at once, so for many fans this ladder is the tier list.

Two examples: Burbaloni Loliloli is the cheapest Legendary, and Orangutini Ananassini is a Mythic that costs 400,000 cash. Plants vs Brainrots, a 2025 Roblox game by Yo Gurt Studio, has its own rarity tiers. Numbers move with updates.

Our tier list, by game potential

• S: Tralalero Tralala, Bombardiro Crocodilo, Tung Tung Tung Sahur. A running shark, a crocodile bomber plane and a wooden chaser with a bat. Each one is already a runner, a flight game and a chase.
• A: Ballerina Cappuccina, Cappuccino Assassino, Chimpanzini Bananini. A spinner, a stealth fighter and a climber. Clear move sets that are easy to read on a small screen.
• B: Lirili Larila, Burbaloni Luliloli. A cactus elephant in sandals and a capybara in a coconut look great but barely move. Better as bosses or pets than heroes.
• C: La Vaca Saturno Saturnita. A cow merged with the planet Saturn makes a great boss entrance and a hard hero for a whole game.

Use one rule per list (funniest, strongest in lore, best in-game value), give a reason for every pick, and leave a slot for next week's new character. Then turn the argument into a game:

• Rank and Fight. Each player invents five hybrids, like a toaster penguin or a cactus shark, ranks them S to C, and the S tiers battle.
